Interventional Radiologist Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology - Interventional Physician to join our team as a temporary General Radiologist with light Interventional Radiology responsibilities coverage.

This opportunity is located in Asheboro, NC and requires the candidate to have experience with general radiology locums positions.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing main hospital and MRI center coverage with no call requirements. The schedule will include Monday to Friday, 8a-5p, with a preference for Mammography on Mondays through Fridays or Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Perform non-complex procedures such as image-guided biopsies, drainages, PICC line placements, paracentesis, and thoracentesis (fluid removal from the abdomen and chest)
• Operate within EMR: Meditech, PACS: Intelerad, VR: Fluency

Requirements:

• Board Certified: REQUIRED
• BLS/ACLS Certified: REQUIRED
• Active NC License & DEA: Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear: REQUIRED
• Provider MUST have clean files: REQUIRED
• Specialty/shift preference MUST be noted at time of name clear: REQUIRED
