Clinical Overview:
- This is a radiation oncology position with ongoing coverage needs.
Schedule and Coverage:
- Required coverage: March 21-28, Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Patient Evaluation and Simulation
- Treatment Planning and Prescription for Radiation Therapy
- Weekly Assessments of Patients Under Treatment
- Post-Treatment Patient Follow-up
- Daily Verification of Alignment and Accuracy of Treatment
Location and Setting:
Radiation Oncology clinic, no call, holidays or weekends
Number of Patients: 25-30 patients per day at both locations
Case Types: External beam treatments, OARs, and follow-ups
Procedures: On-site supervision, checking SRSs, on-treatment visits, and occasional follow-up or consults
Requirements:
- Active IL medical license required
- DEA registration necessary
- State licensure in IL
- CSR license required
Certifications:
- BLS certification
Board Certification: Board Eligible (BE)
EMR System: Epic
