What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric - Endocrinology Physician position at ProLocums?
Job Summary:
A Physician Assistant will work in a Pediatric Clinic providing high-quality patient care. This role involves solo practice, with the support of a 24/7 nurse triage team for hospital-related calls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform AM rounds to assess patient needs and initiate care
- Conduct clinic sessions from 9:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Participate in PM rounds as needed, following admission of new patients
The ideal candidate will possess an active PA license or be eligible for licensure, hold CPR certification, and have at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
This is a scheduled clinic hours plus call position, requiring flexibility and availability to respond to on-call situations.
Working Environment:
The clinic is part of a multidisciplinary team that includes specialists such as Peds Neuro, Gastro, Surgery, Pulmonology, Allergy, Hematology, Nephrology, Transplant, and Neurosurgery.
The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Epic.
Patient mix is exclusively Pediatric cases.
