Federal, a product brand of ProMach, is looking for an Aftermarket Parts Sales & Service Representative. Federal leads the industry with high-speed rotary and inline liquid filling and capping equipment for manufacturers of aerosol, pourable, and non-pourable viscous and semi-viscous products in the food, pharmaceutical, personal care, home care, and chemical markets.
Are you passionate about this work?
- Analyze spending trends, business metrics, and parts sales history for customers and create actionable strategies to grow revenue for the department.
- Business development for customers to regain lost revenue.
- Send timely and accurate quotations, and follow-up on open quotes to secure orders.
- Enter orders in an ERP system and validate order processing details.
- Use customer procurement portals to receive and confirm customer purchase orders as applicable.
- Coordinate freight shipments when required.
- Support Aftermarket department pricing activities by analyzing spending trends and suggesting Market pricing.
- Interface closely with the Manufacturing, Engineering, Shipping, Service and Accounting teams to ensure proper accurate information transfer and execution of orders.
- Perform customer service/support activities as applicable, and interface with high profile customers to ensure their needs are being met.
- Other aftermarket responsibilities as requested by management.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred or Technical Degree with equivalent experience.
- 2 years’ experience in Industrial Machinery Part Sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, written and verbal.
- Persuasive and proactive.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and mechanical and electrical bill of materials as well as grasp basic technical aspects of machinery.
- Excellent customer relationship building skills with strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP systems and MS Office; Salesforce would be a plus.
