Bartelt Packaging in Sarasota, FL is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Interns for the Summer 2024!
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will perform a variety of duties that include, but not limited to:
- Support Mechanical Engineers with design concepts and detailing activities using AutoCAD and Inventor
- Be involved Film & Fill lab testing
- Support prototype builds in R&D lab
- Assist in design efficiency to reduce the cost of current designs
Qualifications:
- Must be a Junior or Senior in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- General understanding of basic automation: gears, motors, belts & robots.
- 3D CAD modeling, preferably inventor.
- Basic knowledge FEA.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Must have local housing accomodations.
