What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saw Operator (10 hour shift, Mon.-Thurs. evenings) position at ProMach Careers?

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Operate saw to cut parts to print
- Quality of cut parts (size and correct material)
- Follow cutting schedule as required
- Accurately report labor to jobs as needed
- Maintain safe work area
- Maintain accurate inventory in the MRP system as well as physical inventory
- Material handling for various work areas within fabrication
- Keep fabrication areas orderly and remove waste
- Regular attendance and daily punctuality are necessary for performing the job.
- Performs additional duties and assignments as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with vocational or trade school training
- 1-2 years cutting experience
- Detail and quality oriented
- Blueprint parts reading capabilities. Proficient mathematical skills
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Professional communication, attitude and image
- Ability to read tape measure and calipers
- Will require lifting of parts and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
