Weiler Labeling Systems is excited to welcome a new Controller to our senior leadership team. As our Controller, you'll serve as a key partner to our General Manager and the division. You'll have the opportunity to manage the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Finance, IT, and other administrative functions.
This is an on-site position working out of our Moorestown, New Jersey plant.
Are you passionate about this work?
- Direct accounting policies, budgetary and job costing processes
- Develop, analyze, and interpret financial information
- Partner with GM and leadership team to drive growth
- Coordinate and direct financial forecasting and budget preparation
- Maintain inventory accuracy and fixed asset records
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and reporting requirements
- Lead and support ERP (Syteline) and other business systems
- Coach and develop the accounting team
- Control expenses within budget constraints

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years’ experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment; 3 years cost accounting experience
- Proven experience in financial analysis
- Working knowledge of various ERP and software programs (Syteline preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and provide direction to a team of employees
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to apply analytical skills to synthesize complex or diverse information, yielding workflows and procedures
- Possess an agile work style; comfortable pivoting from employee coach to team player
- Ability to travel occasionally
