We are seeking an accomplished procurement professional to spearhead the development and implementation of robust sourcing strategies across multiple ProMach divisions. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with key divisions and strategic sourcing partners to conceptualize and execute effective category sourcing strategies. Your responsibilities will extend to working closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to the formulation of requirements, identifying suppliers, and leading negotiations to establish crucial master supply agreements and key performance indicator criteria. Ensuring compliance with preferred suppliers and master supply agreements across ProMach divisions will be a core focus. Additionally, you will be entrusted with cultivating and managing strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure their performance consistently meets or exceeds ProMach's expectations.

Strategy and Implementation:
- Responsible for maintaining systems & processes to obtain and manage material cost and develop process improvement opportunities to achieve annual budget.
- Responsible for maintaining the ProMach supply chain systems & processes and partnership with ProMach’s purchasing steering council.
- Develop and maintain materials management scorecard across primary packaging divisions to identify opportunity areas around:
- Plan, develop and implement best practices for inventory control and job order procedures to optimize the meeting of production and internal/external customer demand.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through an effective cycle count and BOM maintenance processes.
- Educate, coach, and provide training and/or resources to maintain the required level of department expertise for business systems and processes such as ERP automation and utilization, inventory level and location optimization, and load versus capacity management.
- Identifies new technology with preferred suppliers and works with internal subject-matter experts’ technology “roadmaps.”
- Lead the development of category sourcing strategies including supply market analysis, cost modelling and benchmarking.
- Work with divisions to identify savings opportunities and if applicable spread that opportunity across all ProMach divisions.
- Ad hoc projects as assigned.
- Expansion and increasing adherence to the ProMach preferred supplier list (PSL).
- Lead supplier selection and negotiation process, execute sourcing activities.
- Lead the contract review process, working closely with divisional material managers to ensure proper review and capture of business requirements into ProMach’s Master Supply Agreement (MSA).
- Ensure quality of all contracts required for compliant and reliable business operations.
- Support global, local and regional supplier management activities.
- Develop consistent make vs. buy supplier selection activities (where relevant).
- Develop and lead Materials connection across Primary to enhance collaboration and best practices across Divisions.
- Work with the ProMach Business Process (PMBP) group and other business units to develop and drive standards across ProMach:
- Material Assessments
- Value Stream Mapping (Operations Excellence)
- Change Management
- Manage and monitor strategy development and divisional implementation, working in partnership with the teams across applicable ProMach divisions.
- Create ways to reduce divisional effort to increase adoption of best practices and automation.
- Work with divisions to identify areas for inventory reduction strategies and help them implement.

- Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.
- Five plus year’s relevant procurement experience, with demonstrated savings within a capital goods manufacturing plant.
- Proven ability to negotiate pricing, business and contract terms.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, Tableau and ERP platforms (Infor Syteline/CSI preferred).
- Experience with Lean tool application such as Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and Inventory Control.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong planning/project management skills – ability to set and keep timelines.
- Ability to effectively build and manage relationships and influence others at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to travel up to 30-40% of the time to ProMach Divisions and Suppliers.
- Motivated, committed and energetic self-starter.
- Excellent organization, time management and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects, locations, and technology needs.
