The Workers Compensation Program Manager assists the Senior Director of Risk to develop and implement the overall program plan for all Workers Compensation activities. This individual works closely with all relevant vendors that provide service for the management of the Workers Compensation Program. They are responsible to manage costs and provide efficiencies from the vendors. They are responsible to analyze data and make decisions on claims that are consistent with the company’s strategy. They will interact with Legal Counsel to provide direction and documentation to support the company.
Compensation ranges from $75,000.00 - $85,000.00.

Responsibilities
- The Manager oversees the entire claims lifecycle, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, and continuously refines the claims process to safeguard the company's financial and reputational interests.
- Oversees the Third-Party Administrator (TPA) and is engaged in the life cycle of a worker's compensation claim, ensuring that claims are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Review all indemnity, medical and expense reserves and coordinate with various adjusters on reserve requirements.
- Contributes to the review process of general liability and property claims.
- Analyzes claims data to identify patterns and trends, making recommendations for loss prevention.
- Utilizes data analytics tools to monitor, evaluate, and report on claims trends, performance metrics, and potential areas of concern.
- Provides regular updates to management, highlighting any potential risks or opportunities for improvement.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with external partners, including insurance providers, third-party administrators, and Risk Management vendors to optimize claims handling.
- Continuously evaluates and refines claims management processes, incorporating best practices and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stays updated with industry innovations and changes, integrating relevant advancements into the claims management process.
- Generates detailed reports on claims statistics, financial implications, and risk exposure for senior management, assisting in strategic decision-making.
- Ensures meticulous documentation of all claims-related information for audit and compliance purposes.

- This is primarily a sedentary role in an office environment.
- May be required to travel to branch offices and customer locations.
- Full-time in office position.
- Proficient in Windows, MS Word, Excel and any third-party administrator claim management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications
- 7 - 10 years of program management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated track record in overseeing the entire life cycle of a Workers Comp claim, from reporting to settlement.
- Experience in data analytics and trend identification related to claims.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to present findings and insights to senior management.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
