This role oversees Live Production operations, including company farms and contract growers, ensuring efficiency, cost control, regulatory compliance, and a positive community presence.
Live Production Manager Responsibilities :
- Manage breed mix, feed, and grow out programs to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Oversee health, nutrition, and animal welfare programs while maintaining strong grower relations.
- Coordinate logistics for live haul operations and grower deliveries.
- Supervise maintenance and operation of company vehicles related to Live Production.
- Analyze grower performance and mortality data to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with feed milling teams and other departments to resolve production challenges.
- Lead weekly management meetings to address concerns and foster communication.
- Implement safety protocols and training programs in coordination with Safety Management.
- Engage with the community to maintain a positive company image.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support production goals.
