Position Overview :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at [Facility Name]. Key Responsibilities :
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
Help with mobility, including repositioning, transferring, and assisting residents in and out of beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
Monitor residents' physical and emotional needs, providing comfort and reassurance as necessary.
Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature.
Document and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
Assist with feeding and nutrition, ensuring that residents receive their meals and any required supplements.
Provide routine care such as changing bed linens, assisting with personal hygiene, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
Assist with the proper use of medical equipment, including oxygen therapy, wound care, and any specialized devices.
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Ensure all care is delivered in compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and facility procedures.
Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations as needed.
Promote and maintain residents’ independence and dignity through respectful, empathetic care.
Qualifications :
Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
CPR and First Aid certification required.
Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
Physical stamina to assist with the lifting, positioning, and mobility of patients.
Physical Demands :
