What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Supply Technician - Mobile ICU - Full Time - Days / Afternoons position at ProMedica?
The Logistics Technician reports directly to the Pharmacy Supervision. The position works in collaboration with the Operation manager, Medical Director, Field Supervisor, Pharmacy Supervision and field staff to assure a state of opersational readiness.
POSITION SUMMARY
Manages the flow of supplies for EMS operations, ensuring proper inventory control. Receives, stores, and distributes materials, equipment, and products. Fills orders for medical, household, and office supplies for all ProMedica Transportation Network facilities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Receive, verify, and secure shipped materials.
2. Fill supply orders from PTN facilities. 3. Check EMS units for expired medications and equipment monthly.
4. Conduct physical inventory of logistics.
5. Report missing or unauthorized movement of equipment.
6. Maintain logistics vehicles daily.
7. Perform other assigned duties.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Dipolma or equivalent
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficienty with computers.
License: Valid state issued drivers license (must maintain a satisfactory driving record)
WORKING CONDITIONS
Personal Protective Equipment: As required by PTN policies.
Physical Demands: Ability to move about hospital and between workstations, lift/move up to 50 lbs, input and retrieve information from a computer, meet driving record guidelines.
