Human Resources Assistant at a Nursing Home
Promenade Health and Rehab is a beautiful facility providing short term rehab and long term care for elders in our community. The HR Asst works closely with the Office Manager and handles Time Clock management, new hire screening, onboarding, payroll reports, and insurance enrollment for about 80 employees.
Duties Include:
- Run State and Federal criminal background checks
- Time Punch Corrections
- New Hire Orientation, Onboarding, and paperwork
- Check job references
- Maintain logs on employee Licenses, Certifications, TB Tests, and Flu Immunizations
- Answer phones and greet visitors
- Assist Office Manager as needed
- Use multiple computer based portals
- Maintain any Worker's Comp files
- Communicate directly and routinely with facility staff to assist with HR questions
This job has constant interruptions and some very specific deadlines. Being organized and having follow through without routine oversite is required. Must have computer skills and keyboarding or typing ability.
Our environment is about helping others. This position will involve constant contact with the public as well as staff and must be able to represent the facility professionally. Experience with Human Resources and time clock management is a definite plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
