Chief Operations Officer (Prometheum ATS)
The Chief Operations Officer will oversee the day-to-day operations of Prometheum ATS, including risk management, trade processing and reporting, trade support, reconciliations, and month-end reporting. This role requires a deep understanding of financial technology, operational processing, cross-asset class, custody, and regulatory requirements.

Our team has built multiple broker-dealers and a large technology stack, traversing novel areas and requiring excellent problem-solving skills.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of the ATS platform to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
- Develop and analyze intraday reports to monitor trading activity ensuring proper order handling and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with the Front Office to establish best practices, streamline operations, increase automation, and strengthen control frameworks.
- Partner with compliance, finance, legal, and technology to ensure that all operational processes and procedures meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
- Develops and identifies operational opportunities, systems, controls, procedures for improvement.
- Partner with internal leaders to onboard registered and exempt securities.
- Assist with responses to FINRA and SEC requests.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of broker-dealer operations experience, including experience with an electronic trading system (ATS) or exchange.
- In-depth understanding of the financial services industry, including financial technology, operational processing, cross-asset class, custody, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership ability along with a history of promoting process improvements.
- Bachelor's Degree, Series 7 and 24 required.
- Experience working in finance, specifically digital asset securities.
- A thorough knowledge of the U.S. and international securities markets.
- Sharp analytical skills including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data for decision making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Estimated Salary Range: $300,000 - $400,000 per year.
