Product Manager (Financial Services) – Full Time W2
Location:-
NYC
Salary:-
$170,000 - $215,000
Responsibilities
This position will be accountable for direct engagement with business stakeholders and successfully defining, managing, and owning business side requirements for fit-for-purpose products.
As a member of the business-facing product organization, work closely with executives, business development, technical product owners, and engineering management, ensuring the creation and improvement of market-leading enterprise products.
Contribute to the creation and delivery against an efficient, multi-workstream product roadmap.
For the right person, this role could include more significant product oversight as the firm evolves and grows.
Work closely and take ownership of relationships with third party vendors to provide them requirements, regular communication and ensure timely delivery of changes, coordinate testing and change management.
Interfaces with internal and external audiences and responds to product-related questions and requests.
Contribute to firm-wide transparency and clarity on short and long-term firm priorities.
Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
Identify significant product, organizational, and process opportunities and drive them to fruition often without explicit direction and resourcing.
Qualifications
5 years’ experience in product management, business analysis, or adjacent roles, with direct involvement in requirements analysis, stakeholder engagement, and roadmapping.
Sufficient technical competency to meaningfully collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and design technology-enabled solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Polished interpersonal and influencing skills.
Financial Services industry experience and understanding of trading, securities, clearance, settlement and custody.
Experience working with internal and external development teams.
Experience working with regulated applications (Financial).
