Minimum Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Health Informatics, Nursing Informatics, or related field; MD or clinical background preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical informatics with direct experience in the VA or other federal heath clients
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical terminologies, and interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations relevant to the VA
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Proven ability to identify and help resolve issues and risks
- Proven ability to lead a team ensuring that all requirements are fulfilled
- Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
- Ability to obtain a public trust
