Training / Learning SpecialistPrometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health and social services agencies , is seeking a Training Specialist, with expertise in consulting and instructional design, to support federal contracts within the Veteran’s Health Administration.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the overall training / learning effortConduct learning needs assessmentIdentify gaps in learning needed; gather and share instructional design best practicesLead instructional design activities and design sessions with clientsBuild training modules, facilitation guides, and participant guidesCreate or improve supplemental learning material to include but not limited to handbooks, technical guides, how-to-guides, frequently asked questions, pamphletsLead instructional and training sessions, to include workshops and collaborative discussionsDeliver training modules via virtual classrooms or through online training platformsDevelop and execute post-course training surveysQuickly learn on the job content to enable development of effective learning coursesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree5-10 years of related experience (education, training, instructional design)Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of ADDIE and Agile Learning methodologiesExperience designing, developing, and implementing a variety of training programs, using instructor-led, web-based (e.g., Vyond, Articulate, Captivate), or virtual training methodsDemonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory, including interactive and engaging classroom and web-based instructionExperience with instructional design and use of a wide variety of modern learning methodsExperience developing storyboards and writing scripts for online trainingStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced capabilities MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePointUnderstanding of and ability to design products that are 508 compliantStrong interviewing and facilitation skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsProven ability to lead teams and work independentlyAuthorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship indefinitelyAbility to obtain a Public Trust if requiredPreferred QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Instructional Design or EducationDepartment of Veterans Affairs experienceExperience in leadership coachingHigh proficiency in instructional development using Vyond, Articulate, and / or CaptivateAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin.This position may be subject to client or government vaccination and masking guidance, policy or requirements as may be changed from time to time.Work location is flexible if approved by the company except that position may not be performed remotely from Colorado.PFS offers a wide array of comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance, life insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, remote work and other benefits to accommodate what matters most to you and your family.
