YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT
Our team is looking for an experienced Asset Management Associate for our Commercial Office. Supporting the Vice President of Commercial Operations in advancing the leasing efforts and asset performance of the commercial and retail portfolio, this role will coordinate work with a wide array of internal and external team members, including property operations, development, acquisitions, construction management, marketing, attorneys, and general contractors. This candidate will also assist and developing and maintaining financial reports that analyze and monitor the performance and operation of all commercial assets. This is a unique opportunity for broad experience and exposure to all facets of the commercial and retail real estate business.
- Facilitate weekly meetings with leasing brokers and act as the primary point of contact for follow-up items.
- Support all phases of leasing efforts by processing lease documents, creating LOD / Work letters, coordinating space plans with architect / tenant, and working with general contractors and construction managers to obtain construction budgets.
- Negotiate lease terms and contracts. Coordinate and manage various internal and external resources and consultants (e.g., attorneys, contractors, etc.).
- Maintain deal monitoring and tracking, communicating key deal terms, and identifying any execution risks, and overcoming hurdles.
- Assist in preparing and updating all marketing materials, including property flyers and websites.
- Prepare financial analysis of every transaction for executive team approval.
- Support the commercial team's reporting efforts by tracking financial forecasts, monitoring budget performance, updating lease occupancy and availability.
