Job Summary:
The Community Relations Representative will serve as the point of contact for Prominence Health in the Southern Nevada market, with an emphasis on both provider office engagement and local community brand awareness. The role will perform a variety of support, advocacy, education and communication outreach, and will rely heavily on building and developing relationships with key physician/offices, and strategic community sales partners. The role will assist in coordinating Commercial event activities and local provider initiatives needed to drive sales opportunities and improve our brand.

- Two years’ experience working in the insurance or marketing field, and/or coordinating/executing community events.
- Knowledge and experience in healthcare or community outreach activities or client management.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable motor vehicle.
- Ability to apply state and federal insurance laws and legislation and Prominence business processes to everyday circumstances needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with significant relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Bi-lingual a plus (Spanish-English)
- Proficient user in MS office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong time management, organizational and follow up skills required, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Must be creative, innovative and have excellent interpersonal skills; and
- Must be self-oriented, flexible, enthusiastic, and energetic.
