Job Summary: The Member Outreach Lead/ Trainer is involved in communicating the strategic direction of the department to the team members. He/ She will communicate the task or project to team members and divvy up the tasks to the team members. Team Lead/ Trainer will be tracking progress, monitoring the team member’s tasks and ensuring deadlines are being met. Provide quick responses to employees needing clarification on instructions or policies. He/ She will be responsible for making sure that the team members become proficient in specific areas that enable them to accomplish the assigned tasks at hand. Provide day to day operation guidance to the team. The Member Outreach Lead/ Trainer must be able to assist in solving member and staff issues and escalate if needed as well as discovering any training needs and provide coaching and mentoring Outreach Representatives. Team Lead/ Trainer would also be required to take overflow calls and endure those goals for Outreach campaigns are being met.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and high energy who can lead by example and inspire the team to deliver excellent level. The candidate must be willing to work non-business hours in order to better reach members via telephone and work on special projects as assigned. This position reports to the Member Outreach Supervisor.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong coaching and people- development skills through call listening, quality feedback etc.
- 3 years’ customer service experience in a managed care, medical office or health care related field.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to handle demanding members and escalations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills.
- Understanding of health plan departments and functional areas for problem resolution
- Comfortable collecting and tracking performance metrics and managing team to certain performance expectations
- Enjoys working in both individual and team settings
- Strong analytical skills, Problem solver, Creative thinker, Attention to detail
- Self-starter, resourceful and able to execute projects in a fluid and fast-paced environment
