We’re on the lookout for a Regional Director of Business Development to lead our business development team in expanding our skilled nursing facilities’ reach. In this role, you’ll be the engine behind our regional growth strategy, building meaningful partnerships and helping your team reach their potential while increasing our impact in senior care.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead a Talented Team: Guide, motivate, and develop a regional business development team to help them achieve their goals and grow professionally.
- Grow Our Reach: Develop smart, effective growth strategies that increase our facilities’ occupancy rates, build our network of referral sources, and help even more seniors get the care they need.
- Build Partnerships: Form and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, managed care organizations, and other healthcare providers, making our facilities their top choice for skilled nursing care.
- Be Active in the Community: Attend industry events, community programs, and networking opportunities to share our stories, strengthen relationships, and expand our presence.
- Stay Informed: Keep a pulse on market trends, regulatory shifts, and changes in the skilled nursing sector. Use those insights to keep our strategies sharp and forward-thinking.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with facility leaders and department heads to make sure our care aligns with what our referral sources, residents, and families need.
- Set & Track Goals: Define and monitor success metrics, ensuring our efforts align with our growth targets, while celebrating your team’s achievements along the way.
- Keep Compliant: Ensure all activities follow healthcare regulations and our own high standards for ethical, compassionate care.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s is a plus) - preferred
- 5-7 years in business development within skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare, with at least 2 years leading a team.
- A strong track record in building referral networks and increasing occupancy.
- Deep understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care plans.
- Excellent people and communication skills, with a talent for building connections that last.
- A collaborative, supportive leadership style that inspires and brings out the best in your team.
- Willingness to travel within the Central/Southern IL region to connect with your team and support our facilities.
