Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our 5 Star Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of infants and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the individual needs of each child, as well as keeping track of meals for the food program.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to children with special needs, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Facilitate activities that encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development in preschool-aged children.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classroom activities and transitions.
Experience
- Previous experience in a licensed 5 Star center preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Experience working with students who require additional support, including those with special education needs.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among children.
- A background in infant care or babysitting can be beneficial for understanding the developmental stages of young children.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
