What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Shelter Advocate position at Promise Place?
Promise Place is seeking to hire a Lead Shelter Advocate. Promise Place is a non-profit that has been serving victims of domestic violence for over 30 years.
This is a supervisory position with a requirement of prior management experience within a social work or residential setting. Only resumes from applicants who have provided advocacy services to victims of domestic violence will be considered.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the provision of crisis intervention to victims of domestic violence in shelter and via crisis hotline.
- Managing funds for client assistance within a budget.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of complex client information in computer database.
- Facilitating meetings for both clients and staff.
- Managing staff scheduling for shelter.
Criminal background check, required.
Valid Driver's License, required.
Job Type: Full-time
