Performs general food service functions to ensure quality delivery of food items in a clean, well-stocked environment. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs food preparation tasks, positions various items and other routine functions. Maintains the tray-line, coffee maker, other items and equipment. Stocks food center with the various condiments, lids, cups, silverware, napkins, etc. to ensure adequate supply. Maintains a working knowledge of all therapeutic diets. Serves a population pediatric through geriatric. Abides by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI). MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Knowledge of food service operations.
