Job Description
The Director of Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for oversight of the RCM Department, including billing, claims, payment posting, and collections. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management and provides direct supervision of the Billing, Payment Posting, and Self-Pay and Insurance Collections department staff. Responsible for improving and maintaining the integrity of patient billing and reimbursement systems and processes. Specifically, the focus will be to maximize revenue, reimbursement, and collections through continuous improvement of intradepartmental communication, systems, and operations, and goal setting to ensure earnings and cash flow goals are met or exceeded.
Provides regular reports and analyses to RCM team members for data-driven leadership.
Qualifications
- Seven years of experience in revenue cycle management in the behavioral healthcare industry is required.
- Knowledge of general accounting and federal and state laws and requirements relating to behavioral healthcare management is required.
- Experience in managing teams required.
