Spa Master Esthetician
The Promontory Spa team is seeking a Master Esthetician. The Promontory Spa Employee provides exceptional service to our members with the highest level of professionalism. Our Spa offers a variety of treatments; Microneedling, Chemical Peels, basic European and Acne facials, with the opportunity to be trained and perform treatments using the HydraFacial and Glo2Facial machines. All Esthetic employees will be trained in our specific protocols.
Compensation:
Averaging $90 per hour when performing services (hourly, commission and tips)
Available shifts:
1-3 days a week, shifts vary
Spa hours: 10am-6pm
Shift hours: 9:30pm-6:30pm

Responsibilities:
•Perform all services on spa menu specific to your current license
•Assist with product inventory- will require some lifting and standing on stools
•Assist in development of Esthetic procedures and protocols
•Assist clients with retail products and menu items
•Organize and keep room clean and tidy
•Maintain the spa and treatment room in sanitary order and submit necessary repairs in spa or locker rooms
•Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
•Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
•Excellent communication skills
•Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
•A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
•Assist in training process for new hires
Qualifications
Essential Functions & Qualifications:
•Must hold and maintain Utah Master Esthetics license in good standing
•Must be a team player with co-workers and in helping with spa duties
•Must be punctual and reliable
•Must be willing to attend mandatory trainings and help with special events
•Must be customer oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and management
•Must be energetic, enthusiastic, cooperative, and have a friendly disposition
•Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment
•Maintain treatment rooms in a neat, professional manner
•Uphold the standard of sanitation and sterilization as directed by the law and the Spa’s policy and procedures
•Be on time for treatments, prompt with each appointment and perform services with the appropriate time allotted for the service
•Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of yourself and the spa during the scheduled shifts
•Ability to work long days, weekends and holidays
•Ability to maintain grace under pressure
•Consistent attention to detail in delivering The Promontory experience
Educational Requirements and Certifications: Must be a licensed Master Esthetician in the State of Utah; high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; continued education in related field is preferred. Continuing Education encouraged. Must be able to pass a pre – employment background check.
Previous Experience Required: Two (2) years related experience in a high-profile customer service position; must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of HydraFacial and Glo2Facial beneficial.
Physical Requirements: Requires extensive use of hands, physical dexterity, and small object manipulation; must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time; must be able to work with arms at shoulder level for extended periods of time; must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends when needed.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
