We are looking for people with experience as a Demand Planner , interested in starting a SWEET career as part of our Supply Chain team at PIM's Headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey working on a HYBRID schedule. This position will report to our Associate Director, Sales and Operations Planning, in Supply Chain.
Overview :
As a Demand Planner, this associate must be organized and responsible, with strong critical thinking capabilities and excellent inter-personal skills. The position requires someone with existing knowledge of Supply Chain processes with mathematical / statistical insights. The candidate is expected to analyze demand patterns and business trends, with consideration of external factors. Communication is a key component of this role, as cross functional stakeholders rely on our team to provide accurate information and actionable insights.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and validate various sets of forecast data to improve forecast accuracy.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve existing processes and practices.
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, demand, inventory, and business strategies.
- Conduct monthly forecast meetings with our sales organization to review promotions, item launches, and changes to current business.
- Monitor item creations, launches, discontinuations, and changes.
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Demonstrate leadership in engaging and working with internal and external resources.
- Maintenance of data within SAP IBP.
- Inputs and trends defined within role contribute to the broader Sales and Operations Planning process.
- Identify continuous improvement initiatives.
