We are looking for a Social/Digital Content Intern interested in starting a SWEET career as at our global corporate headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey. 

Overview: 

• You’ll play an important part in driving brand engagement and sales on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Amazon and other major retailer websites.  

• Your skills in Adobe Creative Suite and similar design software (including newer AI tools) will be critical as you develop on-brand content that resonates with our audience. 

• Content Creation & Production: 

• Support the Social Content Manager in producing and executing social content. 

• Design and create product images for digital and social platforms, ensuring they meet brand standards. 

• Research social media trends daily to keep content fresh and relevant. 

• Assist in filming, editing, and producing engaging social media videos. 

• Work collaboratively with the marketing team to ensure brand messaging is cohesive across platforms. 

• Platform Optimization & Adaptation: 

• Tailor content for specific marketing needs, including resizing and syndicating across social and digital platforms. 

• Maintain a strong focus on visual aesthetics, adapting to platform-specific guidelines and audiences. 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

• Rising Junior and or Senior in college/university, pursuing Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field 

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better 

• Strong business acumen and analytical ability 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships. 

• Self-motivated and bias for action. 

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. 

• Demonstrated personal and professional values. 

Required Skills/Experience: 

• Prior experience in social content creation or a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing both production and post-production work. 

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, etc) and similar tools. 

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (e.g., for handling production equipment). 

• Excellent attention to detail, with a keen eye for design and aesthetics. 

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 

• Knowledge of the snack and confection industry is a plus but passion for it is a must! 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as effective problem solving and organizational skills. 

• Have access to housing and reliable transportation. 

• Able to work a 40-hour week, beginning June 2nd, 2025. 

• Must be able to work in the office Monday thru Thursday; Friday is Work from Home

• Strong passion for and knowledge of the Food and CPG industry 

• Leadership experience on or off campus  

• Hands-On Content Creation Experience: This internship offers the chance to develop your skills in content creation across popular platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Amazon, and more, using tools like Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro. You’ll gain real-world experience in both production and post-production, making it ideal for anyone looking to build a dynamic, industry-relevant portfolio. 
   

• Brand Impact & Trend Insight: As part of the marketing team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the brand’s social/digital presence and engagement. Daily trend research and collaboration with cross-functional teams will keep your work fresh, giving you insight into what makes content resonate across various social and e-commerce platforms. 

• Industry Knowledge in a Growing Field: This role provides hands-on experience in the snack industry, with exposure to the unique marketing needs of food brands. It’s a great opportunity to deepen your knowledge of platform optimization, digital sales channels, and brand consistency, setting you up for future success in the fast-paced world of digital marketing.
