Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Chat with customers, get the lowdown on their service needs, offer clear recommendations, and make sure they have a smooth, stress-free experience.
- Repair Orders: Create spot-on repair orders, stay in touch with technicians, and keep customers updated on their vehicle’s journey.
- Customer Relations: Build rapport with customers by explaining estimates, timelines, and service details in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Service Coordination: Team up with the service department to make sure repairs are done right and on time—quality is key!
- Payment Handling: Handle cash / charge transactions with precision and accuracy (no room for error here!).
- Automotive Expertise: Use your auto know-how to answer customer questions and offer expert advice on repairs and services.
What You Need:
- Experience: At least TWO years of experience in automotive service writing or a related field. It’s a must!
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of mechanical repairs.
- Skills: Familiar with auto estimating and operations. You’ll need to work well with technicians and be able to communicate technical info in a way that makes sense to customers.
- Payment Handling: Be proficient in handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- License: You’ll need a valid driver’s license to cruise around town!
