PromptCare is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in the Home Infusion and Specialty Pharmacy department. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in providing the highest quality of care for patients in need of specialty medications. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day duties, including medication management, communication with healthcare professionals, and patient education. You will also be responsible for verifying orders, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring accuracy of medication preparation. Reporting to : Departmental Lead, Supervisor or Manager
Job Type : Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9 : 00am-5 : 30pm
Location : New Providence, NJ
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Active pharmacy technician certificate in state of practice without restrictions
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Computer skills : familiar with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office required
- Experience working as a pharmacy technician in home infusion or specialty pharmacy preferred

Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary and occasionally lift office products and supplies of 20 pounds but no more than 35 pounds.
