Territory Account Executive: (Infectious Disease Testing)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Territory Account Executives with expertise in selling infectious disease testing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals, as well as a deep understanding of laboratory testing processes and infectious disease diagnostics. The primary responsibility of the sales representative will be to promote and sell our laboratory testing services to healthcare providers, with a focus on infectious disease testing. The candidate should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for infectious disease testing services.
- Identify and target healthcare providers, including physicians, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities, to promote and sell our laboratory testing services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular communication, product presentations, and demonstrations.
- Utilize existing physician relationships and networks to generate immediate sales and drive business growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new testing methodologies, and emerging infectious diseases to effectively communicate the value and benefits of our testing services.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and laboratory operations, to ensure seamless customer experience and satisfaction.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities, trends, and potential customers.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates to management.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other networking events to increase brand visibility and expand professional network.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements related to laboratory testing and infectious disease diagnostics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, such as biology, microbiology, or medical technology. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on laboratory testing services and infectious disease diagnostics.
- Strong network of physician relationships and an ability to leverage these relationships for immediate sales conversions.
- In-depth knowledge of infectious diseases, laboratory testing methodologies, and diagnostic technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales performance.
