Embark on a fulfilling career in the spirits industry through the 2025 Pronghorn Spirits Internship Program (SIP 2025). This 10-week paid internship opportunity provides hands-on experience in various business areas, impactful project involvement, and networking opportunities across the three-tier spirits industry. SIP 2025 is designed for driven individuals seeking to establish a career in the spirits industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain industry insight by working across various functions in the three-tier industry (leading brands, distributors, and retailers) and learning from industry leaders.
- Spearhead an individual, business-focused project that impacts real business outcomes.
- Immerse yourself in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where teamwork and problem-solving are essential.
- Solve business challenges by collaborating with team members to address real-world business issues through a solution-centric approach.
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure event success.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and guest list management.
- Support teams in creating compelling event-related content.
- Track event budgets and handle post-event evaluations to assess outcomes and propose improvements.
- Engage with attendees and handle on-site logistics to ensure a seamless experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate brand values and messages into events.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a four-year college or university, pursuing a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or related fields.
- Demonstrated interest in a career in the events sector of the wine and spirits industry.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Availability to work full-time during the required 10-week program, spanning from May to August 2025.
- Ability to work at the designated location, as relocation assistance will not be provided.
- Must be 21 years of age or older by the commencement of the internship and possess legal authorization to work within the United States on a full-time, permanent, and ongoing basis, without the need for sponsorship, either presently or in the future.
- Proven leadership experience through academic pursuits or extracurricular involvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work within a hybrid environment and travel for required boot camps and events.
