Job Title: MEAN Stack Lead
Location: Herndon, VA (Hybrid)
Duration: 1-Year Contract (W2 Only)
Job Summary: Seeking a MEAN Stack Lead with 8 years of full-stack development experience. Must have expertise in Node.js microservices, API development (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID), and AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead MEAN stack development (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
- Design & implement microservices using Node.js (Express/NestJS).
- Develop secure APIs and handle SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Work with AWS cloud services and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement unit testing (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Karma).
- Manage Git workflows and oversee version control.
- Mentor developers & promote best coding practices.
Qualifications:
- 8 years of MEAN stack development experience.
- Strong skills in Angular (latest versions), TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6 ).
- Experience with cloud computing, API security, and DevOps practices.
- Strong leadership & problem-solving abilities.
