Position : Skype Operations Support Specialist
Location : Plano TX, Charlotte NC, or Pennington NJ (Hybrid 3 days in office and 2 days remote)
Duration : 12 month contract (ext up to 36 months)
Job Summary :
We are seeking a Skype Operations Support Specialist with expertise in on-premises Skype for Business (SfB) environments . The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise Skype for Business infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Skype for Business (On-Premises) infrastructure .
- Monitor Skype server health, performance, and availability using event logs and diagnostic tools .
- Provide Tier 2 & Tier 3 support for Skype-related incidents and escalations.
- Manage Edge Servers, Mediation Servers, and Front-End Pools for high availability.
- Support voice, video, IM, and conferencing services within the Skype environment.
- Perform patching, upgrades, and migrations to maintain system security and compliance.
- Work closely with network, security, and Active Directory teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Assist in Skype-to-Teams migration projects , if applicable.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials .
