Job Title : Metal Building Construction Worker
Job Description :
We seek reliable and skilled Metal Building Construction Workers to join our team. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $17 to $22 per hour, based on experience, along with a $35 per diem for daily expenses and accommodation coverage. Typical work schedules will consist of 4-10 hour shifts, with potential for overtime. The worker must be able to commute to and from the job site, just North of McKinney with accommodations provided during travel.
Responsibilities :
Skilled (3 years experience) :
Perform tasks such as stick welding, framing, trimming, and sheeting for metal building construction.
Work independently with little to no supervision to meet project goals.
Ensure the highest quality of craftsmanship while adhering to safety and building codes.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of construction practices and job site protocols.
Moderately Experienced (1-3 years experience) :
As directed, assist in measuring, cutting, framing, and other construction tasks.
Operate hand tools such as screw guns and other essential construction equipment.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to job site conduct.
Work effectively as a team, completing standard tasks under general supervision.
Qualifications : Skilled Level :
3 years of metal building experience, with proficiency in welding, framing, trimming, and sheeting.
Ability to produce high-quality work with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
Moderate Experience :
1-3 years of general construction experience, with a basic understanding of job site procedures.
Comfortable with tools like measuring tapes, saws, screw guns, and other construction equipment.
Ability to work well in a team setting and follow instructions.
Additional Information :
Pay : $17 to $22 per hour based on experience
Per Diem : $35 / day
Accommodations provided during travel
Schedule : 4-10 hour shifts with potential for overtime - 3 day weekends
Must be able to commute to and from the job site just North East of McKinney independently.
