Position: Backend Java Developer (U.S. Citizens Only)
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid – Onsite 3 days/week)
Duration: 12–24 months (Contract)
We are currently seeking a skilled Backend Java Developer with hands-on experience in React and Newgen platforms to support a key client project. This role involves building and maintaining scalable backend systems and integrating them with frontend technologies and digital process automation tools.
Role Overview:As a core member of the development team, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing server-side applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Leveraging Newgen One platform capabilities to create and integrate workflow automation and business process management solutions.
- Developing robust, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise-level applications.
- Working closely with the UI team utilizing React.js to ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend components.
- Managing and optimizing relational and non-relational databases for performance and scalability.
- Conducting root cause analysis and resolving application issues to ensure high system availability.
- Staying abreast of the latest backend technologies, coding standards, and industry trends.
- 3 years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in Newgen One platform for enterprise content management (ECM), case management, or business process automation.
- Understanding of React.js and experience integrating backend services with frontend applications.
- Expertise in building and managing REST APIs, microservices, and database operations (SQL/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to work in collaborative team settings.
