Position: Senior Frontend Developer (React)
Location: Wilmington, DE (Hybrid – Onsite 3 days per week)
Contract Duration: 12 to 24 months (Potential for extension)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Developer specializing in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript for a long-term engagement on a high-impact project. The ideal candidate is someone who brings exceptional technical expertise in frontend development and is driven by creating seamless, high-performance user interfaces. This is a hands-on role requiring strong individual contribution, not a management or architectural position.
Role Expectations:
- Develop and enhance web applications using modern frontend technologies, with a primary focus on React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Convert complex UI/UX designs into scalable, maintainable code.
- Support the technical direction established by the Frontend Lead and contribute to high-quality execution.
- Promote and uphold development best practices, coding standards, and team-wide conventions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers and backend engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Participate in peer code reviews and provide guidance to ensure overall code quality.
- Stay in sync with overarching architecture decisions and contribute meaningfully to the product’s evolution.
- Approach all tasks with professionalism and a commitment to long-term project success.
Core Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in frontend development, with a strong emphasis on modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Deep expertise in:
- React
- TypeScript
- JavaScript
- Thorough understanding of frontend patterns, application performance, state management, and responsive design.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with the team.
- Strong communication skills; must be able to interface directly with clients when required.
- Active LinkedIn profile required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first CSS frameworks.
- Familiarity with design systems and reusable component libraries.
