Bakehouse Customer Service Team Member

Team Size: 65 team members
Position: Hybrid role combining baking and customer service
Proof Bread is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakehouse Customer Service Team Member to join our team! In this unique hybrid role, you’ll have the opportunity to not only create delicious products but also connect directly with our customers, sharing your knowledge and passion for quality, handcrafted bread. Weekend availability is needed to fulfill this position.

Responsibilities:
- Bake and Serve with Pride: Prepare and finish products throughout the day to ensure freshness, then bring these creations directly to our customers with enthusiasm and a warm smile.
- Provide Exceptional Service: Engage each customer with friendly, attentive service, providing helpful recommendations, answering questions, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace: Keep the bakehouse and service areas neat, organized, and safe for both staff and customers.
- Master Product Knowledge: Become an expert on our bread and seasonal offerings, sharing your insights to guide customers toward the perfect choice.
- Build Customer Relationships: Connect with regular customers and new visitors alike, fostering a sense of community and loyalty to Proof Bread.
- Complete Closing Procedures: Assist with end-of-day tasks, including cleaning and organizing, to ensure a fresh start for the next day.
Qualifications:
- Passion for Customer Service: Eagerness to provide a high-quality experience for each customer, enhancing their visit with personal touches and excellent service.
- Product Enthusiasm and Knowledge: Interest in learning about our unique bread-making process and seasonal products to share with customers.
- Prior Kitchen or Food Service Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen, bakery, or customer-facing food service role is ideal.
- Core Traits: Self-driven, ambitious, reliable, and genuinely friendly.
