Allan and Brent Draper were raised in Nyssa, Oregon, a town of 2,000 people. As part of a family of eight, they were raised in a three-bedroom, one-bathroom home. Growing up, as their family struggled, their community stepped in and helped whenever they could. In an effort to repay their community, Allan and Brent became heavily involved in community service.

The brothers also both served two-year church missions in South America. Their missions changed them in many ways and fueled their desire to serve others. Once their missions came to an end, they decided then to continue serving in any way they could.

how proof. came to be

proof. pest control was founded based on the desire to provide necessary services to homeowners. Below is a timeline of how proof. came to be.

2001 – The Draper brothers went on missions for two years; Allan went to Chile and Brent went to Brazil.

2006 – Brent was working for a pest control company in Ohio when he convinced Allan to come join him. They enjoyed working together and they decided to start their own pest control business. However, startup challenges convinced the brothers to look to other careers. Brent continued working in the pest control industry and Allan went to law school.

2014 – The brothers’ entrepreneurial spirits led them to try their hand a second time at starting a pest control company. Thus, proof. pest control was born.

2015 – The first proof. pest control office opened in Wixom, Michigan. In order to share their love of community service, the program “proof. Gives Back” was established to serve the local communities.

2016 – The second proof. office was opened in Ashland, Massachusetts. A few months later, proof. pest control opened its operations center in Mesa, Arizona. Around that time, proof. also opened a marketing office in Orem, Utah.

2018 – Success in Michigan and Massachusetts led Allan and Brent to expand their services to Colorado and Utah.

2019 – The brothers began offering pest control services in Arizona and expanded their Michigan operations to Grand Rapids.

2020 – Woah. What a year… Fortunately, proof. pest control helped keep people all over the country safe, comfortable, and pest-free in their homes all year long.

2021 – Like many pests do in the spring, we finally got to crawl out of our homes as the world started opening up again. So, proof. jumped on the trend and opened up two more branches in New York and Nevada.

2022 – With business booming, proof. needed more branches to service more customers! In May, proof. opened additional offices in both Michigan and Colorado!

About the Role:

As an Outside Sales Representative at Proof Pest Control II LLC, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our pest control services in the Boston, MA area. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring their pest control needs are met with the highest level of service. You will be expected to identify new business opportunities, conduct on-site assessments, and provide tailored solutions that align with our clients' requirements. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, as you will be actively engaging with customers in various settings, from residential neighborhoods to commercial properties. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the overall revenue growth and reputation of our company in the pest control industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the pest control or service industry.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of pest control products and services.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess client needs and provide customized pest control solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular follow-ups and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify potential leads and participate in promotional events.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-up actions in the CRM system.

Strong organizational skills will help you manage your schedule effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups and appointments. Preferred skills, such as knowledge of pest control products, will enhance your ability to offer informed recommendations and establish credibility with clients.
