The VP of Corporate Events will be the driving force behind the vision, strategy, and execution of our global events, including flagship programs like Proofpoint Protect, third-party sponsorships, and executive engagements. This role requires a seasoned leader with a proven track record of conceptualizing and executing large-scale, industry-leading conferences and events on the scale of the industry's most renowned conferences, delivering transformative and high-impact experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy and Leadership :

• Develop and lead a comprehensive global event strategy, integrating flagship events, third-party sponsorships, regional engagements, and executive programs into a cohesive roadmap that aligns with business objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, and communications, to ensure event strategies support overarching company goals.Set the vision for our events, ensuring they represent the highest level of creativity, innovation, and operational excellence.

Operational Excellence :

Own and manage the events budget with a focus on efficiency and measurable outcomes.

Implement scalable systems and processes for planning, execution, and performance tracking.

Build and lead a high-performing events team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Innovation and Thought Leadership.Push the boundaries of event experiences through the use of emerging technologies, hybrid formats, data-driven personalization, and innovative design.Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously benchmarking and evolving Proofpoint’s event strategy to ensure it sets new standards within the cybersecurity space.
