Controller (with Non Profit Experience)

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee outsourced accounting to ensure accurate financial records, reconciliations, payroll, and reporting.
• Lead budgeting and cash flow projections, ensuring financial stability and strategic growth.
• Provide financial insights and reporting to leadership and the Board to drive decision-making.
• Manage grants and donor-funded programs, ensuring compliance and financial transparency.
• Maintain strong relationships with banks and external partners.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, tax filings, and audits are seamless.
• (Optional) Oversee HR functions, fostering a positive and compliant workplace.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
• Expertise in QuickBooks, budgeting, and grant management.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and problem-solve.
