Position Overview: The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for identifying and managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, products, or services.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supplier Research & Identification:- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers for goods and services.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and capability.

Sourcing & Procurement:
- Source materials, products, or services as per company requirements and standards.
- Issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and conduct bid analysis.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with suppliers.
- Build and maintain positive supplier relationships.

Supplier Evaluation & Performance:
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules.
- Work with suppliers to resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or cost.
- Perform supplier audits to ensure continued performance improvement.

Cost Management:
- Analyze cost structures and recommend ways to reduce expenses without compromising on quality.
- Ensure purchasing decisions align with budgetary goals and company financial objectives.

Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with internal departments (e.g., production and supply chain) to ensure sourcing meets operational needs.
- Maintain communication with suppliers, resolve disputes, and ensure timely deliveries.

Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Prepare and present sourcing reports to management as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
- Completion of High School
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CPSD) is a plus.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and processes
Specific Skills:
- Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management (typically 2 years).
- Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
