Parking Lot Attendant

We are looking for Parking Lot Attendants to perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the airport front curb, while delivering a service level that exceeds customer expectations. You will be responsible for greeting guests, collecting payment, completing car counts, ensuring facility cleanliness and gate inspections. The Parking Lot Attendant works closely with fellow team members, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Act as traffic controller to direct guests and keep curb clear.
• Perform vehicle counts on location throughout shift.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed: assist guests.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facilities or Ground Transportation Manager
• Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns; relay information to Ground Transportation Manager or Shift Lead as necessary.
• Immediately report any accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to Ground Transportation Manager or Shift Lead.
• Always communicate professionally with guests, clients, and teammates.
• Always maintain a professional appearance.
• Perform Gate inspections and complete appropriate paperwork.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, often outdoors in various weather conditions, often exposed to car fumes in garage, and changes in temperature.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Mechanical Aptitude.
• Computer Skills including Microsoft Office programs.
• Clear verbal communication skills to interact with customers, provide directions, and enforce parking policies.

Other Requirements

This position requires a detailed background investigation to acquire and maintain a sterile side Airport access (SIDA) badge.

Valid Driver’s License. Driving record will be required.

This position is subject to pre-employment, random, and post incident drug screenings.
