Job Description
As the Sanitation Technician, you will be a crucial member of our sanitation team, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our production facility during the night shift. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a sterile environment will contribute directly to the quality and safety of our products.
This position is 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11:30pm.
Responsibilities
Sanitation Procedures
- Execute sanitation protocols for production areas, equipment, and facilities.
- Perform thorough cleaning of machinery, surfaces, and production spaces.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
Equipment Disassembly and Assembly
- Disassemble and assemble production equipment for effective cleaning.
- Ensure proper sanitation of individual components before reassembly.
Chemical Handling
- Safely handle and apply cleaning chemicals following industry guidelines.
- Dilute and mix cleaning solutions according to specified ratios.
Inspections and Reporting
- Conduct regular inspections of production areas to identify sanitation needs.
- Report any equipment issues or sanitation concerns promptly.
Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, including cleaning schedules and checklists.
- Ensure documentation complies with industry regulations.
Collaboration
- Coordinate with the sanitation manager and other team members to execute sanitation plans.
- Communicate effectively with production and quality control teams to address specific needs.
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of sanitation procedures in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to cleanliness.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
