Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Assist with the assessment of patients’ health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with clinic standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Support patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and follow-up care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience or training in toddler care is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medical coding practices is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is desirable.
- Knowledge of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate medical records.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
