Position Summary
The Staff Accountant is a key member of the Finance team at our luxury lifestyle hotel. This role supports the financial operations by preparing accurate financial reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong accounting background, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- General Accounting
Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate coding to accounts and departments.
Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payment.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and hotel standards.
Work closely with operational departments to manage and track departmental expenses.
