Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be proficient in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe environment for all occupants.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities, ensuring all systems are functioning properly.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues through work orders.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Supervise and coordinate with other maintenance staff or vendors as needed.
- Execute residential painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic quality of facilities.
- Perform repairs or modifications to equipment or structures.
- “On call” coverage on a rotating basis.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience in residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with work orders maintenance requests.
- Strong maintenance/carpentry skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
