Overview
The Systems Admin Supervisor is a senior-level management position responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's complex IS infrastructure. This role involves managing advanced server and network systems, Outlook and Microsoft 365 environments, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms/software ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. The Systems Admin Supervisor develops and enforces comprehensive IS strategies and security policies, conducts in-depth security audits, performs regular system updates, responds to sophisticated security incidents, and implements robust backup and disaster recovery solutions.
This role requires extensive experience with operating systems, virtualization, and network management, as well as strong leadership, project management, and ream management skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a closely related field. Additionally, applicants must have five to eight years experience in systems or network administration, with at least five years in a senior or lead role. The ideal candidate will possess advanced certifications in areas such as Microsoft products, networking, storage solutions, cloud, and virtualization technology, or similar. Relevant work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
