Requirements:
- Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Responsibilities:
- Maintain high level of curb appeal by policing property, removing trash and debris; checking for abandoned vehicles, property damage etc. and report suspected lease violations to Property Manager
- Conduct maintenance and upkeep of building exteriors, common areas and grounds through Service Requests or direction by Management
- Perform seasonal grounds duties as needed
- Contribute in the organization and inventory control of the Maintenance Shop and other storage areas; with emphasis on safety concerns and unit keys
- Participate in the care, maintenance, and inventory of all company owned equipment
- Application of all safety standards and practices associated with maintenance operations
- Effectively communicate with residents, vendors and other employees in a professional and courteous manner
- Wear appropriate safety equipment as tasks dictate
- Assist other team members and complete other projects and duties as assigned

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception
- Ability to work long hours in inclement weather and emergency situations such as snow removal, excessive heat, storms, etc.
- Work in awkward, confining or uncomfortable positions
Authority:
- Recommend changes to the position and job duties which will improve efficiency and safety

- Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Takes direction from the Director of Property Maintenance, Regional Maintenance Supervisor, Property Manager and Regional Property Manager
