Position Overview
Since our start in 2010, Property Pros has become the premier Landscape Design and Build firm in the Central Indiana region. Over the past few years, we've been working on building our Residential & Commercial Maintenance division, and we are looking to add a Maintenance Field Manager to our team. The Field Manager will oversee the day-to-day productivity for all landscape maintenance and enhancement crews, as well as work alongside the team to help complete services.
Essential Responsibilities for the Maintenance Field Manager
· Overseeing daily productivity for the Maintenance and Enhancement crews while working alongside the teams to complete all assigned services as scheduled.
· Monitoring job quality, including promptly and clearly communicating with the crews regarding any unacceptable aspect with a plan to resolve issues.
· Providing all crews with the items and communications necessary to be successful. Listing the tools, equipment, and materials needed, as well as outlining a detailed description of the task with clear expectations of the time frame.
· Training and developing the team to follow the Property Pros Standards of Process (planting and watering correctly, arriving back to the shop on time, loading the trucks in the evenings, completing the Daily Update worksheets, etc.).
· Supervising Crew Leaders and their Crew Members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Working with the Human Resources Director to complete any necessary write-ups, termination documentation, and reviews. Communicating any necessary information regarding employees to the Human Resources Director, Director of Operations, and other members of management.
· Relaying client communications to the Account Manager and Director of Operations. Documenting any complaints in Aspire and relaying all information to the Director of Operations.
· Creating and hitting production goals, while maintaining a very high level of job quality.
· Completing all necessary paperwork and tasks in Aspire. Scheduling jobs in Aspire and monitoring the team’s clock in/out times and work ticket allocations for accuracy.
· Leading weekly meetings with the Director of Operations, including a review weekly accomplishments, upcoming deadlines, and expectations.
· Working with the Account Manager(s) to complete thorough site audits on current clients’ properties to see opportunities for enhancements.
· Creating and completing issues, as needed.
· Supporting the Director of Operations in taking ownership of the facility, including delegating tasks to maintain cleanliness and organization, stocking necessary items, caring for the nursery to ensure no loss of plant life, ensuring an accurate count of inventoried items, etc.
· Assisting with communicating daily update emails to the Leadership & Design Teams containing the completion goals for each crew, subcontractor timelines, employee late arrivals/absences, personnel updates, etc.
· Aiding in snow removal.
· Completing any other duties, as assigned.
Knowledge, Experience, & Licenses
· Valid driver’s license
· High school diploma or GED
· Minimum of 2 years of professional landscaping experience
· Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role
· Knowledgeable in Microsoft and Apple products and systems
· Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to read and write
· Self-motivated, with the ambition and willingness to take initiative
· Highly organized and able to follow processes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
